These are the rules of using Memry. They're written in plain English so anyone can understand them. Use the service and you agree to them.
What Memry is
Memry is a WhatsApp bot that listens to voice notes and text about people you've met, extracts structured information, and helps you recall them later. It's a personal tool, not a CRM, and not a record of authoritative truth.
Who can use it
You must be at least 13 (16 in the EU) to use Memry. By messaging the bot or signing in, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and that you're using your own WhatsApp account.
Your account
Your account is identified by your WhatsApp phone number. Keep your phone secure — anyone with access to your WhatsApp can read and modify your Memry account. We don't have a way to recover your data if you lose access to your number.
Acceptable use
Don't use Memry to:
- Store data about people in ways those people would object to.
- Harass, stalk, or threaten anyone.
- Store sensitive personal data (medical, financial, etc.) about others without their consent.
- Resell, scrape, or rebuild the service.
- Try to break, abuse, or reverse-engineer the service.
- Use the service for any illegal purpose.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
Free vs. paid
The Free plan has a monthly cap on saves. Paid plans (Plus, Pro) raise the cap and unlock priority processing. Prices are listed on the /pricing page and are billed monthly in advance via Stripe.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel any time from your dashboard or directly in Stripe's customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep paid features until then.
Within the first 7 days of any paid plan, email us at hi@hellomemry.com and we'll refund the full amount, no questions asked. After 7 days, refunds are at our discretion — but we'd rather lose money than keep an unhappy customer, so please ask.
Your data
Your contacts and notes belong to you. We process them only to provide the service. See the Privacy Policy for details. Reply delete all my data on WhatsApp at any time and everything is permanently erased.
Service availability
Memry is provided "as is". We try to keep it running smoothly but we don't guarantee 100% uptime. Memry depends on WhatsApp, OpenAI, and other third-party services that occasionally have outages outside our control.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Memry, Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Memry. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. If a change materially affects your rights, we'll tell you at least 30 days in advance on the homepage and by email.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
